Easy Bread Machine Pizza Dough

Homemade Pizza Dough in the Bread Machine is a game changer. Let the bread machine do most of the work to create this easy and delicious homemade pizza!

Equipment

  • bread machine or mixer

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup warm water
  • 1/2 cup warm milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 3 3/4 cup bread flour or all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 1/4 tsp yeast

Instructions
 

  • To begin, place all of your ingredients inside the bread machine in the order listed above.
  • Press start then select dough setting on your bread machine. 
  • When the dough cycle is complete, place dough on a lightly floured surface, cut it in half, and shape each half into a smooth ball. Cover and allow to rest for about 10 minutes.
  • Grease your pizza pan with oil or butter. 
  • Use your fingers to spread your dough inside your cast iron or pizza skillet. I like to create a bit of a ridge around the outside for the crust. Brush the edges (or the whole pizza like I do) with garlic butter
  • Spread pizza sauce and top with your favorite toppings.
  • Bake for 13-15 minutes! Broil for 3 minutes to achieve the browning on top of the crust.
