- Immediately put your eggs in an ice bath for 10 mins to stop cooking + easy peeling.
- Peel eggs!
How easy was that? Im telling you, you will never want to make boiled eggs another way!

How to dye deviled eggs | pastel colors!
Now the fun starts!
- Next, we are going to start dying the deviled eggs using your desired color. I prefer pastel colors using less color dye but feel free to use vibrant colors by adding more dye to your cold water.
2. Using food coloring, add your desired amount of dye. I dipped my fork in the dye then mixed it all around to achieve pastel colors (also to prevent messing with the flavor of the egg)
3. Now, add your eggs to the colored water. Let sit 5-10 mins depending on your desired color. I let mine sit 5 minutes.
4. While your eggs are sitting, go ahead and put your deviled egg mixture in a piping bag (ziplock bag works) for easy filling.
5. Using a spoon, check your eggs. If desired color has been reached, spoon your eggs out and place eggs on serving tray.
6. Lastly, using your piping bag, fill eggs with the deviled egg filling.
That’s it!
Add fresh chives to fancy up your colorful deviled eggs.
The kids will love this fun recipe so much, they could even help.
Use these colorful deviled eggs for more than your easter dinner. Try red, white and blue eggs for the Fourth of July! Or maybe even pink and blue for a baby shower. They are the perfect appetizer for any occasion.
